I would like to talk about visual resumes vs. traditional resumes. Employers these days believe that when a candidate takes the time and effort to create a visual resume, the candidate truly cares about his/her professional appearance as well as making a great first impression. Employers believe that a person who takes the time to develop a clean and well-designed Visual Resume is someone who strives for success.

Visual resumes - Advantages and Disadvantages.

Visual resume are creative, visual resumes gets the employers attention and Helps reading everything clearer, it is structured in a set order and have a great visual impact. Visual resumes provide a great amount of information in a brief yet very simple way.

Visual resumes may have a disadvantage of false information. Some employers are set in their old-school ways and may find a complex visual resume harder to read compared to a traditional resume.

Being in scope of recruitment for more than eight years, I personally believe that a simple visual resume would be suitable any job. A visual resume with a colour theme and a picture of the candidate could go a long way when applying to any job, when compared to a traditional resume.

Highly creative complex visual resumes are mostly suitable for jobs in related to art and design. Graphic designers and creative web developers could benefit greatly from visual resumes. Most modern companies are more than likely to understand the creative message complex visual resumes deliver.
